Jocelyn''s Provisions has a large and loyal customer base, both retail and wholesale. We specialise in high-end, handmade cakes, slow ferment, artisanal breads, preserves, biscuits, slices and pastries. We are currently looking for an experienced delivery driver to join our team. Your role will include packing and unloading deliveries (in a van) from our kitchen to our other retail stores, as well as slicing bread for orders and retail. You will also be required to deliver wedding cakes, corporate orders to clients, as well as daily deliveries to our wholesale customers all over Brisbane. Requirements Excellent customer service and time management Early starts (3:00am) & early finishes Manual handling and regular lifting of products in bread crates, so a good level of physical fitness is essential Ability to deliver delicate items in a timely manner Great attention to detail, ensuring all customers receive their correct order and each product arrives in good condition Good knowledge of the Brisbane metro area and surrounds Current drivers licence with a good driving record Experience in a similar position Ability to keep track of relevant paperwork, invoices, picking slips, etc. This is a casual position, 3-4 day working week (2030 hours a week) with the option of more hours/shifts in the new year as more stores open. We are a 7day operation, so this role will include weekday and weekend work. Must have your own reliable transportation.
