Job Description We are seeking flexible, patientcentred Hospitality Services Assistants (HSAs) for part time and casual positions across morning, afternoon and night shifts at Epworth Geelong. The primary function of this role is to clean and maintain functional areas of the hospital, including: Patient rooms Public and administrative areas Clinical spaces With further training, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills into patient transport (Orderly), assisting with: Safe and respectful patient transfers Equipment transport Supporting clinical teams This is an excellent opportunity to join our supportive and friendly Environmental Services team at Epworth Geelong and be part of a growing healthcare service. Successful candidates will have an excellent understanding of the principles of customer service and cleaning standards within private healthcare and will be willing to grow with our service whilst being part of a supportive culture to achieve excellence in care. To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need Strong communication skills and a customer service focus. Experience working in a hospital, residential aged care setting or private cleaning business (desirable). A "can do" attitude, team approach, and courteous communication. Key Responsibilities and Attributes Strong customer service focus; able to deliver on, and respond compassionately to patients needs. Excellent interpersonal skills; communicate clearly, confidently and courteously. Organised approach to work; able to work consistently and effectively in a busy environment. Welldeveloped understanding of infection control in a hospital environment. Flexibility to work any shift, as required, on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. PSA Training PSA training is highly regarded and directly transferable into patient transport duties.
