Specialised Food Services Pty Ltd Murwillumbah NSW Experienced Maintenance Fitter & Turner Morning & Afternoon Shifts Who We Are Specialised Chicken is a leading manufacturer of high-quality chicken products, based in South Murwillumbah, NSW. As our business continues to grow, were looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter & Turner to join our dynamic team. About the Roles Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising machinery to ensure smooth production in our food manufacturing facility. Shifts run between 2AM 6PM, with opportunities for both early morning and day shifts Monday Friday, with occasional weekend work. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding equipment (experience in food processing is preferred). Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime. Work independently and within a team to optimise production efficiency. Ensure work areas are kept clean and comply with safety and food industry standards. Be available for overtime when required. What Were Looking For Qualified Maintenance Fitters, Metal Machinists & Electricians. Experience in food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Reliable and adaptableable to handle varying shifts. Great communication and teamwork skills. Punctual, dependable, and committed to quality work. Additional Requirements Current forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
