If you have a passion for customer service, effective communication skills, knowledge of trade and building products, a positive attitude and are willing to learn new things, then we would love to hear from you. This is an opportunity for an individual who must have a forklift licence or willing to obtain one. Having an Australian Manual Licence is also preferred.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service & advice to customers.Keep areas organised, pigeonholes full & areas tidy.Use of forklift & side loader to load & unload products.Accurately pick and pack timber and building products for customer orders.Collaborate with team members to maintain a streamlined warehouse.Ensuring that all duties are carried out to a high safety standard.RequirementsManual Licence preferred.Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing.Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in a warehouse, blue collar retail or construction-related role is a bonus.Excellent attitude to teamwork.You will be required to work a varied roster which will incorporate weekdays and weekends.Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.At Clennetts Mitre 10, we are proud of our people and as an employee you will receive benefits including discount off in-store purchases, access to our EAP services and health & wellbeing program, recognition of service awards, and ongoing career development, as well as a day off for your birthday!The successful candidate will be remunerated under the General Retail Industry Award 2020 in line with their knowledge and experience.
