About the opportunity Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver, youll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. Youll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesnt get better than that! Responsibilities Safely load your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility. Complete your own daily vehicle safety check. Drive our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups. Return to our operational centres to unload pick-ups. Work hours: 7am 3:30pm. About you Youre a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. Youre passionate about making a difference in the community. Requirements Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Hold a relevant heavy vehicle license. Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck. Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility. Have a customercentric mindset and effective communication skills. Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less. Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a preemployment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
