We currently have an opportunity to join our Hussey & Co family. Due to increased demand & growth, we are seeking a Casual Truck Driver to work 30-40 hours per week with an immediate start. The role will involve Metro, country runs, fridge van work, and some weekend work when required. Responsibilities Assist forklift driver to load truck Ensure loads are secured to avoid damage Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections Drive vehicles to their destination and unload Carry out administrative duties, such as checking items against the inventory, completed delivery dockets, Chep transfers, record keeping Return vehicle to depot, refuel and park securely Keep truck clean and tidy Mandatory requirements HC License VIC Roads Driver History Report Driver History report Minimum 5 years truck driving experience with an excellent driving record Reliable Fluent in English (Read, write, speak) Dedication to safety Punctual The following skills would be advantageous Experience with refrigerated trailers and delivering refrigerated goods A hands-on approach to problem solving As a company, we recognise our people are our greatest asset; we value attitude as well as talent and provide opportunities to those who demonstrate the ability and drive to succeed in their role.
