Smiley Tots Preschool and Early Learning Chinderah NSW We are looking for a passionate and inspired ECT who is a team player, enthusiastic, happy with an energetic, positive vibe to work in our Preschool Room Must be a University Trained Early Childhood Teacher About Us Smiley Tots was established in 1995 and is a family owned and operated service that is rated as EXCEEDING the NQS in all 7 areas. We are located on the Tweed Coast at Chinderah, 40min north of Byron Bay, and 10 minutes south of the QLD border. Our service provides early learning and preschool for 75 children per day, 26 years of age consisting of 3 oversized rooms and 1 very large playground. Upstairs separate Preschool room 29 children per day. Downstairs Meebun and Chungarra Rooms 46 children per day (24 years of age). These children can move between these two rooms and inside and outside whenever they please as we run a freeflow program for this age group. Why Work For Us? Selection Criteria Must hold Early Childhood University Teaching Degree & NSW Teacher Accreditation Thorough knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, NQS Thorough knowledge of Child Safe Standards & the National Model Code Child Protection Training First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Training NSW Working with Children Check Have a passion for early childhood education Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Excellent teaching, planning, documentation and organisational skills Proven ability to work collaboratively with other educators, families, and the community Proven dedication and enthusiasm for ongoing professional development Understanding of children''s right to have a voice, anti-bias and inclusive practices, sustainability and natural learning environments Australian work authorisation required Must Be A happy, positive team player An advocate for playbased learning Against the push down of academics on early childhood Able to work in an environment with a freeflow, indooroutdoor program with progressive meals and sleep times Willing to get your hands dirty, get messy and have fun!
