Join Our Team Farm & Shed Workers Wanted in Tully, QLD over December/January Mackays Group is seeking dedicated and reliable farm and shed workers who can commit to a minimum of 3 months in Tully and are available to work through the Christmas period. We will be conducting in-person interviews in Tully QLD 4854 on 9-11 December. Farm Working Hours Monday to Thursday - 6:30am-4:40pm Transport is provided to and from farms via bus (pick-up in Tully). Job Description Shed Work Manual and repetitive tasks using hands, arms, and shoulders Working in the packing shed, sorting, grading, and packing freshly harvested bananas for distribution Harvesting bananas by cutting and carrying bunches (3540 kg) on your shoulder Assisting with a variety of farming tasks, including planting, weeding, harvesting, and general maintenance All Roles Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to relevant health and safety protocols Collaborating with the wider team to contribute to the overall success of the farm You Must: Be able to work in hot, humid, and wet conditions (FNQ weather conditions) Physically fit: able to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads Experience in farming, horticulture, or similar work (highly desirable) Strong work ethic and willingness to do handson physical tasks Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team What we offer Free BBQ every Thursday Friendly and welcoming team culture Opportunities for longterm employment and career progression How To Apply: If you are interested in applying for this position, please send your resume to ******@mackays.com.au with a time you can interview.
