Our client Berendsen Fluid Power is seeking a Fitter Machinist Apprentice to join their team in Berkeley, NSW.As a leader in hydraulic services, Berendsen Fluid Power provides an extensive range of fluid power products and solutions across Australia.This is a great opportunity to join a respected company with a commitment to quality and innovation in the hydraulic services industry.In this role, you will develop valuable machining skills, operating a range of metalworking machines, including lathes and mills, to shape, slot and bore components.You''ll learn to interpret drawings and specifications, repair and maintain hydraulic cylinders and useequipment, all in a workshop environment alongside experienced tradespeople.Key Duties Include:Assisting tradespeople with daily tasksStripping and disassembling mechanical and hydraulic componentsPainting and cleaning parts and equipmentMeasuring components with precisionReassembling mechanical and hydraulic componentsThis four-year apprenticeship will equip you to become a qualified Fitter Machinist and earn your MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade.Full time 4-year contract including paid annual and personal leaveAccess to 1:1 mentoringThe chance to learn from experienced tradespeopleOpportunity to access Governmentsubsidy payments of up to a total of $5000 for the first 2 years of your apprenticeship paid in6 monthly instalmentsAbout YouWere seeking a motivated individual who takes pride in quality work, pays close attention to detail and has a proactive approach to learning.
