Role Description This is a Casual role for an Immediate start on-site role for Support Workers based in Perth, WA. The Support Worker will assist individuals in achieving their daily goals and enhancing their independence. Responsibilities include providing care and assistance tailored to the participant''s needs, maintaining a safe and respectful environment, fostering positive relationships, and supporting personal development. Support Workers may also facilitate community access and contribute to group activities. Qualifications Strong Support, Work experience and understanding of Safeguarding practicesEffective Communication skills and excellent Interpersonal SkillsBasic Technical Support aptitude to aid participants with technology-based toolsAbility to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating empathy and patienceRelevant certifications in community services, healthcare, or disability support are an advantageUp-to-date knowledge of NDIS standards and working with diverse populations is preferredCurrent First Aid and CPR certification is requiredReliable, registered vehicle.Strong experience providing support to individuals with complex disabilities, preferably in a community-based or in-home setting (highly regarded)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clientsEmpathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of othersCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtainFirst Aid & CPR CertificateMedication CertificateNational Police ClearanceValid Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)Certificate 3 in Disability or Mental Health Support Work Please Email your CV to [email protected] #J-18808-Ljbffr
