Due to growth in our Infrastructure Services business, we are currently looking for a full time Quarry Operator to join Fulton Hogans Tynong Quarry. Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, the Quarry Operator will be responsible for a range of tasks and will be a reliable and strong team player. We are looking for someone who enjoys a handson role and working outdoors. Previous Quarry Operation experience is preferred but not essential. Outstanding candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn will also be strongly considered. The team primarily operates Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work required. Duties also include but are not limited to: Operating sales and face loader. Operating haul truck. Operating fixed & mobile quarry crushing equipment and mobile plant. Conducting repairs and maintenance on equipment and plant as required. Compliance with all Fulton Hogan Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and targets. How youll connect to the role? Experience on quarry earthmoving equipment is essential; holding current ticket/licences. Experience on fixed & mobile quarry crushing equipment and mobile crushing plant preferred but not essential; holding current ticket/licences. Possess the skills to undertake plant repairs and maintenance preferred but not essential. Excellent interpersonal skills. A positive attitude to safety that delivers a zero harm environment. Be available to work Saturdays. The pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.
