About the Role Were looking for a practical, safety-minded Distillery Operator to join our Glenalbyn/Inglewood team. This handson role involves operating machinery, supporting distillation processes, and helping to keep our site running smoothly. While experience with boilers is an advantage, its not essentialwere open to applicants with a maintenance, mechanical, or machineryoperation background who are keen to develop new skills. Key Responsibilities Operate the boiler, distillery equipment, and farm machinery (including tractor, forklift, vat trailers, and telehandler). Manage distillation processes, including handling biomass, ash removal, spent material, and distilled oil. Accurately weigh, record, and prepare eucalyptus oil for dispatch. Perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and ensure all equipment is kept in good working order. Maintain logs, follow OHS requirements, and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training. Support daytoday distillery operations and keep the site secure. Provide occasional support to the Harvest & Haulage team (e.g., tractor work, mulching, seed orchard tasks, and general farm duties). About You Current Boiler Certificate preferred not essential Telehandler experience & license preferred not essential Forklift license preferred not essential Experience working in an agriculture, horticulture or forestry operations. Ability to work autonomously in an isolated farm environment. Ability to operate farm and harvesting machinery with care and safety. Mechanical aptitude with solid experience in basic farm equipment repairs.
