About the Role Reporting to the People Partnering Manager, the PeoplePartner plays a key role in delivering people focused services to leaders and employees across RFDS Queensland. You will be a trusted advisor to frontmid level leaders, helping them navigate employeerelated matters, embed people practices, and uplift their capability in a practical, businessintegrated way. This role is wellsuited to an experienced HR generalist or advisor who is ready to step into a broader partnering role and take ownership of both daytoday support and improvement initiatives. Your daytoday will involve: Providing timely advice to leaders on employee matters, performance, employee experience, and risk identification Delivering valueadd, businessintegrated HR support aligned to operational needs Supporting People initiatives and taking ownership of selected business improvement projects Creating and maintaining HR documentation including PDs, performance tools, guides and templates Assisting with interpretation and application of awards, enterprise agreements, policies and relevant legislation Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes and monitoring survey insights Maintaining accurate HRIS and people systems records to support governance and compliance Responding to People enquiries and escalating when needed Building strong relationships with leaders across the organisation, contributing to a positive and solutionsfocused People function About You Youre a capable, confident HR Advisor with generalist experience who thrives on practical problemsolving and helping leaders navigate people matters with clarity and confidence. Youre known for being proactive, organised, and relationshipled. Youll bring: 35 years experience in a generalist or advisory HR role Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field A sound understanding of the Australian industrial relations landscape Experience interpreting awards, enterprise agreements, legislation, and organisational policies Strong written skills with high attention to detail across templates, documentation and processes Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and stakeholders with a calm, solutionsfocused approach Strong relationshipbuilding and influencing skills across diverse operational environments HRIS experience (Ceridian Dayforce or Chris21 highly regarded) Experience in sectors such as healthcare, aviation, logistics or regulated environments will be well regarded Why Join the RFDS?
