Medical Science Liaison, Obesity and MASH WHO ARE WE? THE OPPORTUNITY As our Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Obesity and MASH, you will establish and nurture collaborations with physicians and healthcare professionals across Norway. Your role will focus on gathering valuable insights to inform strategy during the pre-launch phase, disseminating scientific information, and connecting with specialists in obesity, MASH, specialty care, and GP practice. You will be the face of Boehringer Ingelheim to high-level scientific professionals where you will engage in scientific discussions and idea exchange, with an ultimate goal of ensuring that the right patients are treated optimally with a focus on new scientific approaches. You will report to the Medical CRM Team Lead. This is a field-based position; majority of your time will be spent in the field. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain trustworthy scientific and medical relations with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), including specialists in obesity and MASH. Gather and communicate valuable insights from the field to support strategic direction in the pre-launch phase. Disseminate scientific information and data related to obesity and MASH across sectors, including specialty care and GP practice. Act as a scientific resource and go-to person for scientific queries and in-depth information within your area of expertise. Support the medical and asset team by providing insights and feedback from the field. Discuss and meet the special needs of External Experts for leading-edge information and product / indication knowledge. Work in collaboration and alignment with the Medical Manager. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM PhD or master''s degree in Medicine / Pharmacy / Lifesciences. At least 3 years of experience in an MSL role. Pre-launch and launch experience is a big plus. Background or experience in Obesity or MASH is preferred. Ability to build high-level peer-to-peer relationships with HCPs and External Experts. Knowledge of the Norwegian health care system and the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent command of the Norwegian & English languages.
