Team Leader - Process Operator Cleanaway Waste Management Location: Narangba, QLD Australia Employment type: Permanent Full Time About the role Based at our Narangba depot, we are seeking an experienced Team Leader to support the collection, treatment, processing and recycling of liquid and hazardous waste, including industrial waste, grease trap waste, oily waters and paints. Responsibilities Complete all records and paperwork correctly as directed by CWY, laws & regulators. Ensure safe work practices and adherence to policies and procedures including Absolutes and Lifesaving rules, reporting of unsafe practices and incidents. Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed. Supervise and assist in the training of all levels of Process Operators. Prepare and document waste products for removal from site. Perform loading and unloading of packaged waste vehicles. Decant, clean, repackage, store and dispose of packaged waste. Sample and treat packaged waste as directed and/or required. Undertake daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Qualifications Previous Team Leader or Supervisor experience. Current Forklift licence with a minimum of 12 months experience. Excavator and Loader tickets (highly advantageous). Current drivers licence Class C. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Zero Harm Safety mindset. Good attitude, reliable and willing to learn.
