Principal Network Security Architect NSW Department of Customer Service NSW Telco Authority (NSWTA) Join a dynamic cybersecurity team where your expertise will help protect critical networks and keep communities safe. This highly technical, collaborative role is based in a hybrid formattwo days a week at the Sydney McKell office on Tuesdays & Thursdays, with additional travel to data centres as required. Pay Range Base salary: A$149,739.00A$173,174.00 per year, plus superannuation and leave loading. Responsibilities Serve as the Network Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) within project teams, driving bestpractice security outcomes and providing expert guidance. Ensure projects achieve full compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with thirdparty vendors to deliver secure, highquality solutions that meet agreed commitments. Develop and implement robust network security policies and controls to safeguard availability, integrity, and confidentiality. Align solutions with NSWTA requirements to optimise security and performance. Provide critical operational escalation support to the Network Operations Centre and Security Operations team to maintain resilience. Travel to various data centres as project demands require. Qualifications & Requirements Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and retain Minimum Baseline Security clearance within six months. Secure Network Design: Lead the design and implementation of resilient, highperformance networks that support critical government infrastructure and applications. Communication: Outstanding communication skills to confidently engage stakeholders at all levels, influencing decisions and building strong relationships. Documentation: Deliver accurate design and asbuilt documentation, including uptodate network diagrams. Roadmapping: Develop forwardlooking technology roadmaps that align with organisational goals and drive strategic outcomes. Knowledge & Certification: Maintain current knowledge of ICT, cybersecurity, and cyberrisk trends; supported by relevant industry certifications.
