Role Overview We are seeking an outstanding and experienced educational leader for the position of Head of Faculty PDHPE. This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant and committed team in delivering a curriculum that supports student wellbeing, physical development and lifelong health. Responsibilities The Head of Faculty will be responsible for shaping and articulating a clear vision for Health and Physical Education, overseeing the design and implementation of innovative learning programs and ensuring excellence in teaching and learning across the faculty. A key part of the role is to mentor, support and develop staff fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement. Skills and Experience be an outstanding classroom teacher who models best practice teaching and learning have a detailed understanding of the NSW curriculum framework across Stages 4 6 About You demonstrate strategic leadership capabilities and have a welldeveloped understanding of contemporary educational issues and innovative pedagogical approaches related to the faculty and broader school context hold a postgraduate qualification in educational leadership or similar (desirable) demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the Mission and Values of the College demonstrate the capacity to develop and sustain strong interpersonal relationships and establish productive partnerships demonstrate high level administrative and organisational skills excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as highly developed interpersonal skills a proactive approach demonstrating personal initiative, adaptability and time management skills the ability to multitask and set priorities with acute attention to detail contribute to the Community Contribution Program at the College hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people Position Details The position is fulltime ongoing commencing 20 January 2026.
