About the Role We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Dean (Nursing) who will provide visionary academic leadership across IHMs nursing programs. The successful candidate will oversee curriculum development, accreditation, and quality assurance, while fostering innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and industry engagement. This role requires a strong commitment to student success, staff development, and the enhancement of IHMs reputation as a leader in nursing education. Duties & Responsibilities Provide academic leadership in curriculum design, program evaluation, and accreditation. Lead and mentor Course Coordinators and academic staff across campuses. Promote student success and engagement through high-quality nursing education and support services. Oversee academic quality assurance, integrity, and compliance management. Build and maintain strong industry partnerships to enhance student employability and collaborative projects. Represent IHM at academic and industry events. Participate in governance committees including Academic Board, Audit & Risk Management, and Learning & Teaching Committee. Essential Criteria A doctoral qualification (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant academic field. A Bachelor or Master of Nursing qualification (mandatory). Minimum 45 years of experience in a senior academic leadership role. Demonstrated experience in managing and leading diverse academic teams. Strong understanding of compliance with higher education legislation and standards (TEQSA, ESOS Act, HES Framework, National Code 2018). Proven ability in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and quality assurance. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
