The CFO role is a genuine leadership position shaping both financial and company strategy, supporting both the CEO and Board while developing and leading a team.The position will focus heavily on providing high level financial advice and reporting with an emphasis on continuous improvement with innovation being key, as Hort Innovation is about being better every day. This is a critical role with high level strategic exposure and input across the business as well as with external stakeholders who are critical to the overall business model and approach.The PersonWe are keen to hear from you if you possess the following background, key skills and attributes :Proven track record of success in financial management having worked for 10+ years as a CFO, COO or equivalent, ideally in a commercial environment overseeing a number of business functions in addition to finance.Relevant tertiary qualifications (accounting, finance, commerce, economics) with CPA or equivalent.Strategic thinker with the ability to undertake financial analysis and present data to support well-informed decision making across teams.Highly developed business management, business improvement and reporting skills including advisory on business performance and strategy including familiarity with corporate governance structures.Analytical in approach, with high attention to detail and the capability to solve novel, complex issues in a dynamic, fast paced environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high performing teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
