As the Principal Solutions Engineer, youll be the technical bridge between product owners, architects, and platform engineers, delivering secure, scalable, and costoptimized solutions across AWS, onpremises (VMware), and Azure environments. Youll set technical direction, define standards, and mentor others, ensuring our platform services meet business needs for functionality, cost, and time. This role is a 24-month fixed term contract, onsite based out of our HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC) Responsibilities Leading the design and delivery of advanced AWS platform services (compute, storage, networking, identity, security) Defining and deploying solutions across hybrid and multicloud environments Developing AWS reference architectures, standards, and patterns Acting as technical lead for AWS projects, guiding automation and best practices Implementing cost optimisation and compliance strategies Providing 24x7 support on a roster for critical platform and cloud services Performing lifecycle management (OS upgrades, patching, AWS resource optimisation) Collaborating with product owners and architects to align technical roadmaps Mentoring and upskilling junior team members in AWS and hybrid cloud technologies Are you the one? The ideal candidate can demonstrate: Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional (preferred) Extensive handson experience designing, implementing, and operating AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda) in enterprisescale environments Strong DevOps background (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration) 7+ years experience with server/infrastructure technologies (VMware, Windows/Linux, Exchange, Active Directory, Storage, Backup) Proven ability to architect secure, scalable, and costoptimised solutions Experience integrating AWS with hybrid/multicloud platforms (VMware, Azure) Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills Strategic thinking and innovation Strong analytical and problemsolving Teamwork and collaboration Integrity and reliability At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive and highperforming workplace where everyone can thrive.
