Role Overview A leading organisation in Engineering Services is seeking a Head of Finance to play a critical role at the intersection of finance and operations. This is an opportunity to join a business experiencing significant growth through numerous bolton acquisitions, with a key mandate to integrate newly acquired companies and help build out a new division with new systems, data and tools over the next 1215 months. Responsibilities Drive integration of multiple acquisitions, aligning financial processes and supporting the establishment of a newly formed division. Collaborate with Operations and IT to drive a critical new operational system, ensuring the data flow allows for key efficiency, productivity and labour/material metrics required to run the business. Partner with senior operations leaders to influence strategy and optimise performance. Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Provide commercial support on bids, tenders and major contracts. Oversee project profitability, cost management and cash flow, maintaining strong financial controls and compliance. Champion continuous improvement, implementing new systems, tools and processes. Qualifications Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; CPA/CA qualification essential. 10+ years in finance business partnering, FP&A or management accounting, ideally within construction, engineering, facilities management or technical labourbased services. Proven track record in postacquisition integration and change management, especially around systems and tools. Strong financial modelling, analytical, and reporting skills, plus excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
