A key driver of success is to challenge the status quo of a market with innovative customer centric solutions that shift the market dynamic.The RoleReporting directly to the Founder CEO you will manage a small Finance team of four. A key remit will be to influence and drive efficiency in operations (circa 30% of the role) to ensure efficient working capital metrics and inventory optimisation through aligned demand planning. By taking an active role in shaping both the financial and commercial direction of the business, the Head of Finance will be integral to driving innovation, ensuring sustainable growth, and maintaining the companys position to be at the forefront of growth.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Strategy: Drive the development and execution of financial strategy, aligning with the companys innovative culture and ambitious growth targets. Act as a strategic partner to the Founder CEO, providing commercial insight and robust financial guidance to shape the future of the business.Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management: Lead the annual budgeting process and deliver rolling forecasts, using data-driven insights. Monitor KPIs, analyse variances, and recommend actions to optimise financial performance.Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Oversee cash flow planning and management, implementing efficient working capital strategies to support innovation and operational excellence. Proactively identify and address financial risks and opportunities.Commercial Modelling & Scenario Analysis: Provide robust commercial modelling and scenario analysis to support pricing, margin management, and investment decisions, enabling the company to capitalise on emerging market opportunities.Operational Management: Oversee daytoday operations of the company, with particular responsibility for managing a stockbased warehouse environment and coordinating the importation of products. Ensure optimal inventory control, timely product availability, and efficient logistics processes to support business needs and customer expectations.Investment & Acquisition Evaluation: Longer term in tandem with the CEO, assess new investment opportunities and potential acquisitions that align with the companys strategic objectives and growth ambitions.Your TraitsTo be successful in this role you will be a CA/CPA qualified professional with experience working in a productbased business selling into concentrated markets either in a B2B or B2C segment. Your leadership style will be trusted, adaptable, and commercially attuned to have operational clarity and a businesswide impact. Further you will be a team player with the ability to connect and form meaningful relationships with family members. You will be a prudent decisionmaker with a track record of taking ownership for and driving key initiatives in a dynamic, outcomeoriented business model. Finally, you will have the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and strategies in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
