Project Director (NSW Living Lead) Remote type: Onsite, Location: Sydney, NSW, Time type: Full time The Role As a Project Director (PD) you will be expected to lead in securing and retaining new local and national work with existing and new investor and landlord clients. The project role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the specific project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders. As a Project Director, you have a responsibility as a leader to contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and coaching in all aspects of project management. Establish and implement an effective organisation structure for reporting, communication and working procedures. Lead the project team to assemble and effectively lead consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve the best possible performance from all members of the project team. Take a proactive role in delivering successful projects. Represent the client''s best interests from inception to completion of the project. Establish and maintain a positive client relationship. Represent and promote the company throughout the project. Ensure accurate and timely project reporting. Proven negotiation skills with both internal and external groups including contractors, suppliers, consultants and authorities. An understanding of the legal environment for each project in respect of planning, commercial aspects and delivery constraints is essential, as well as our obligations for complying with AS and Environmental Health and Safety legislation generally.
