The Opportunity As the Head of Finance in this business, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial processes and ensuring the successful delivery of all financial initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead all aspects of the companys finance function, managing an outsourced finance team of four ensuring robust control, compliance, and insight. You will oversee and manage all financial aspects of the company''s operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis. You will develop and implement financial strategies to support the company''s growth objectives, and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements, including tax compliance as well as statutory obligations (BAS, super, payroll tax etc.). You will manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies and oversee the outsourced payroll process and related reporting. Requirements Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce Minimum 8 years experience in finance, including leadership or head-of-function roles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights. Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholder collaboration. Experience managing outsourced or hybrid finance teams. Commercially minded and confident in communicating with senior management and Boards. Experience in project-based or technical service industries highly regarded. Full working rights in Australia This position is working on site in Kings Park Monday-Friday.
