You will ensure the bank maintains an optimal capital structure, a robust liquidity profile, and the financial agility required to meet our strategic goals. You will influence organisational decisionmaking at the highest levels, working closely with the CFO, senior leaders, external financial institutions, rating agencies and regulators. This role also offers the opportunity to represent the bank in strategic market and stakeholder discussions. This is a fulltime permanent position based at our head office in Albury, NSW. Flexible hybrid working is available for those living in the Albury area. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will: Manage all treasury operations, including capital, funding, liquidity, IRRBB, securitisation and compliance Optimise liquidity and investment portfolios to meet cashflow needs and maximise returns Maintain liquidity forecasting, monitoring and reporting in line with policy and regulatory requirements Lead capital structure management to support strategic priorities and financial resilience Lead analysis and reporting of key treasury and financial risks Manage derivative exposures, counterparty relationships and transaction execution Support ALCO operations, prepare ALCO papers and provide economic and market insights Implement ALCOapproved interestrate decisions and ensure strong governance across treasury activities Manage and contribute to the accurate preparation of relevant APRA reporting e.g. securitisation and liquidity reports including reconciliation to Hume data and monthly reports About you A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related field (CA/CPA/CFA highly regarded) Demonstrated postqualification experience in a treasury or financial risk role within financial services or commercial banking Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence at senior levels A collaborative leadership style and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights Knowledge of APRA, prudential standards and regulatory frameworks (advantageous) About Us At Hume Bank weve always believed the future is bright.
