Our national conferences, summits and forums bring together the developers, investors, advisers and policymakers shaping the future of our cities.We are now seeking an experienced National Events Director to lead our event strategy, elevate the quality of our programs, and drive the continued growth of Australias most influential property industry event portfolio.This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-performing national events program, shape flagship conferences including Urbanity, and play a key leadership role in a fast-growing media and events organisation.About the RoleReporting to the CEO, the National Events Director leads the strategy, content, delivery and commercial performance of our national events calendar. You will guide a talented events team, curate industry-leading programs, and ensure every event delivers exceptional experiences for attendees, partners and speakers.In this role, you will:Strategic LeadershipShape the annual event strategy and national event calendarAlign event activity with commercial, editorial and membership objectivesContribute to executive-level decision-making as part of the leadership teamProgram and Content DevelopmentLead the development of compelling programs for conferences, summits and virtual eventsResearch trends across residential, commercial, industrial, BTR, PBSA, retail, hotels, aged care, capital markets and emerging sectorsIdentify, secure and manage high-calibre speakersWork with the CEO to curate our flagship Urbanity programSpeaker Identification and ManagementIdentify, assess and secure speakers from leading developers, investors, policymakers, advisers and innovatorsManage all aspects of speaker engagement, including outreach, briefing, preparation, scheduling, logistics and on-the-day coordinationBuild and maintain strong relationships with high-profile contributors and industry specialistsEvent DeliveryOversee planning, production and execution of all national eventsManage schedules, budgets, suppliers, venues, AV and onsite operationsDeliver exceptional attendee and stakeholder experiences across all event formatsCommercial PerformancePartner with the sales team to drive event revenue and sponsorship outcomesSupport partnership development with integrated commercial opportunitiesCollaborate with marketing to grow registrations and strengthen event positioningLead and mentor a high-performing team of event professionalsSupport capability development, resourcing and recruitmentChampion a positive, accountable and high-performance cultureAbout YouSignificant experience in event leadership, conference production or program directionStrong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth and revenue outcomesDeep industry knowledge or the ability to quickly build expertise in the real estate, property development and built environment sectorProven ability to build high-quality, insight-led programsExcellent communication and senior stakeholder engagement skillsStrong project management capability and experience managing multiple concurrent eventsConfidence, leadership presence and the ability to uplift a teamWhy Join Us?Play a key leadership role in a high-growth media and events businessShape one of Australias most respected and influential industry event portfoliosLead high-impact national events including Urbanity, our flagship conferenceJoin a collaborative, creative and values-driven organisation (Inform.
