Factory Site Manager Modular Construction (Crestmead) Lead. Build. Innovate. Saltair Modular is an award-winning, fast-growing modular builder headquartered in Coolum Beach. As we expand into our stateoftheart factory in the Crestmead Industrial Estate, were looking for a handson Factory Site Manager to lead our production teams and deliver highend modular projects with precision and pride. About Us With a brandnew, purposebuilt facility, our team enjoys consistent, weatherproof work in one central location; no more losing days to rain. Our factory is fastpaced, wellorganised, and equipped with advanced machinery, allowing our teams to produce outstanding modular builds to the highest quality standards. Youll also work closely with our site install teams to ensure a seamless transition from factory to final installation. Opportunity We are seeking a driven, experienced leader who takes pride in craftsmanship, values teamwork, and thrives in a busy production environment. As Factory Site Manager, you will oversee production across the factory and yard, ensuring deadlines, quality, and safety are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Lead the daytoday coordination of factory and yard production activities Supervise and support a team of skilled trades, maintaining Saltairs highquality standards Work closely with design, engineering, and project teams to deliver premium modular builds Monitor workflow, production timelines, and material levels to optimise efficiency Conduct regular quality checks and implement continuous improvement initiatives Train, mentor, and upskill team members in techniques, safety, and machine operation Identify and resolve production issues with practical, handson solutions Maintain strict compliance with workplace health and safety regulations Actively participate in handson carpentry and production tasks as required Coordinate trades through each stage of the build to ensure precision and highend finishes About you Minimum 5+ years experience as a Carpenter or Tradesperson, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role Confident reading and interpreting plans, technical drawings, and specifications Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and support a diverse team Excellent attention to detail and commitment to premium workmanship Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to stay calm and organised under pressure Good understanding of factory safety, WHS, and manufacturing operations Clear, confident communication and excellent organisational skills What We Offer Competitive salary package based on experience Longterm career progression as our factory operations continue to scale A positive, supportive work culture with strong leadership backing A modern factory environment with cuttingedge tools and machinery A commitment to your safety, wellbeing, and professional development #J-18808-Ljbffr
