Defence One Tree Childcare- Coventry Location: Southbank, VIC Position: Toddler Room Leader Diploma Qualified Hourly rate: $36 with 2+ years experience as a Room Leader Are you a passionate and dedicated childcare professional looking to make a difference in the lives of young children? Our vibrant childcare centre in Southbank is seeking a qualified Room Leader for our 2-3 year old room. About Coventry: This service is in the heart of Southbank, with a tram on your doorstep and parklands across the road. We are a small and cosy centre with only 50 children split across our long day care. We have a kindergarten program, nursery and toddler room. Our opening hours are 7am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Along with opportunities to work in places you never thought possible. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children. Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that foster learning and development. Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and centre policies. Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance daily tasks and responsibilities. Qualifications and about you Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). Proven leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset. Current WWCC VIC & National Police Clearance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Be an experienced and passionate advocate for the early education sector. Always advocate for childrens rights. 2+ years experience in a Room Leader role within the Early Childhood sector. Be reliable and dedicated. What We Offer A supportive and friendly work environment.
