About The Role The Industry Engagement Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with a network of industry stakeholders committed to improving outcomes for government secondary school students transitioning from school to work. The position involves partnering with key employers and stakeholders across the Upper Spencer Gulf and surrounding regions to strategically implement opportunities for students attending the Port Augusta Technical College to engage in workplace learning and transition into school-based apprenticeships and traineeships. The role will also support priority and emerging industry sectors across the region aligned to a portfolio of industry sectors and will require travel. Qualifications Essential: Nil Desirable: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
