Assistant Finance Officer / Finance Officer Freeman Corporation Administration Trust Smithfield QLD Freeman Corporation provides financial and administrative services to some of Far North Queenslands most iconic wildlife attractions, including Hartleys Crocodile Adventures, Kuranda Koala Gardens, and Birdworld Kuranda. We are a small, supportive finance team that values accuracy, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture. This role is primarily based at our Smithfield office, conveniently located near Smithfield Shopping Centre. Why Youll Love This Role Weekday hours only office operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm Genuine training and support you will receive on-the-job training with a dedicated mentor Flexible working hours available, ideal for school drop-off and pick-up Convenient Smithfield location close to shops, cafs, and public transport Join a stable organisation supporting wellknown local attractions What the Role Involves (Duties will be introduced progressively with training) Daily cash counting and reconciliations Accounts payable and general finance support Maintaining accurate financial records and basic reports Assisting the finance team with daytoday accounting tasks What Were Looking For To succeed in this role, you will have: Working knowledge of MYOB and Microsoft Excel At least one year of bookkeeping experience Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently Good communication skills and a positive teamfocused attitude This role would suit someone at junior to intermediate level who is keen to build their finance skills in a supportive environment.
