From humble beginnings we have expanded rapidly to the large logging, sawmilling, timber treatment and structural quality timber. At DTM Timber, we are proud of our certified and highquality hardwood building products from Australian hardwood forests. About the role We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our Finance Team in the lovely Fraser Coast commencing in January 2026. The role will work closely with the Company Accountant and Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities: Administration related tasks, including but not limited to account enquiries via telephone and email, system upkeep and general administration tasks. Assist with month end processes and reporting. Maintaining register and prepayment schedule. Assist in daily accounting tasks to ensure sound financial operations. Ownership of General Ledger and Accounts Receivable reconciliations. Manage a variety of data for daily, weekly and monthly transactions. Attend to enquiries from internal and external customers. Be involved with various ad hoc projects for the finance team. To be successful, you will be someone who demonstrates the following attributes: Demonstrated finance experience in general ledger processing. Bachelor of Business/Commerce advantageous. Minimum 5 years finance experience in an office is a must. Sound knowledge / experience of reconciliations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite intermediate/advanced skills in Excel. Resultsorientated with the ability to learn quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptable to change. Detailoriented and highly organised. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
