Position: Wine Store Manager Market Wine Store is seeking an experienced and motivated Wine Store Manager to lead our retail business and support our growing eCommerce operation. This is a handson management role suited to a charismatic wine professional with excellent product knowledge, strong retail experience and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, including staff leadership, stock control, budgets, promotions and supplier relationships. The role also includes responsibility for wine ordering for Bocca Italian Restaurant, ensuring a wellmanaged and consistent wine offering. This is a fulltime position for the right candidate, with the opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing growth of Market Wine Store. What youll be doing Managing the daytoday operations of the wine store Delivering exceptional customer service and expert wine advice Leading and supporting staff to create a positive and engaged team culture Managing stock control, ordering, receiving and inventory accuracy Working within budgets and monitoring sales performance and GP Planning, executing and managing your own instore specials and promotions Overseeing wine ordering and supply for Bocca Italian Restaurant Supporting and growing online sales (eCommerce experience an advantage) Maintaining excellent store presentation and merchandising standards Staying up to date with wine trends, producers and industry developments What were looking for Excellent wine knowledge (WSET or equivalent highly regarded) Proven experience in wine retail, preferably in a management role Strong understanding of stock management, budgets and margin control A customerfirst mindset with outstanding interpersonal skills Ability to manage promotions, pricing and range decisions confidently Organised, detailoriented and commercially minded Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of results eCommerce experience is a bonus but not essential What we offer At Market Wine Store, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, rewarding and professional work environment.
