Kilmore Racing Club is a dual code site, providing both Thoroughbred and Harness racing and training facilities. We are seeking an experienced industry professional to join our team in the role of Racing Operations Manager. In this fulltime role, you will oversee the efficient delivery of Race Day Operations and Event Management, contributing to the success of the KRC raceday experience. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of race day operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards Oversee race day staff recruitment, training, and rostering Liaise with key stakeholders such as raceday officials, staff, and patrons to address any issues or concerns Develop and execute operational planning for major race days and racecourse events Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of events. Secure and foster new Club sponsorship partners, manage the annual renewal process and identify opportunities for growth Attend KRC race days to host sponsors and promote the KRC brand. Who we are looking for Experience in a similar racing operations or event management role A passion for racing ideally possess an understanding of the rules, regulations, and best practices in the industry Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders Proven problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes A proven background in providing exceptional customer service and experiences.
