Youll be organised, confident with systems and sharp on detail ready to recommend products and deliver exceptional results. About the role Whether youve worked in sales, frontofhouse or behind the pass, youll bring a mix of industry knowledge, people skills and commercial instinct to help customers get what they need. This is a peoplefirst role. Youll be out and about, talking to chefs, checking in with customers, maintaining strong relationships and building new ones. As the main point of contact for Bidfood customers, youll be trusted to understand their needs, recommend products and help keep their businesses running smoothly. Internally, youll collaborate with the warehouse, purchasing and driver teams to ensure a high level of service from end to end. Your day will include: Visiting customers to strengthen relationships and recommend products Inputting and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently Ensuring KPIs and sales targets are achieved Responding to customer queries Reporting on sales and business opportunities at regular meetings Coordinating with purchasing and warehouse teams to deliver outstanding service Processing quotes and sales enquiries with care and precision Occasionally assisting with deliveries to better understand customer and operational needs This is a Monday Friday role (with the occasional weekend), offering lifestyle balance and job security. Maybe youve been a chef, a manager or a Bidfood customer. You get the pace, the pressure and what it takes to deliver consistently. Youre a people person confident, calm and genuinely driven to help others succeed. You understand the value of great service and know how to build trust with every interaction. Sales experience, foodservice experience or an FMCG background will be highly regarded. Skills and experience To thrive in this role, youll bring a strong understanding of foodservice, a natural way with people and the ability to stay sharp under pressure.
