Join a leading agribusiness where safety is the #1 priorityFull-time, permanent role offering stability and long-term career growthTools of Trade and company vehicle includedAbout the roleBunge is seeking a motivated Health & Safety Advisor to provide leadership and support to our Southern Region, covering key sites at Port Adelaide (Outer Harbour and Inner Harbour), Roseworthy, Tailem Bend and the Loxton Group of sites. The primary responsibility of the role is to assist the business in the implementation and ongoing compliance with Health and Safety policies and standards. You will work closely with local management and employees to increase safety awareness and participate in scheduled and ad hoc safety activities including audits, investigations, training and projects.The position requires travel across the listed sites to provide on-site support as needed. You can expect to be away from home for an average of two - three nights per week, with some weekend and afterhours work required to effectively support operational teams and maintain a visible safety presence in the field.DutiesChampion a culture where health and safety is central to all business activitiesProvide expert advice on hazard and risk management in line with policies and standardsSupport a zero-harm workplace through leadership, coaching, and engagementPromote and model safe behaviours, ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and customersLead incident investigations, audits, and inspections; identify improvements and corrective actionsDeliver training and guidance to leaders and staff on health and safety practicesParticipate in operational meetings, regional projects, and safety initiatives to support continuous improvementContribute to achieving targets in the annual Health and Safety Improvement PlanPerform other duties as requiredAbout YouFormal safety qualifications (minimum Certificate IV WHS)At least 5 years experience in a safety role (within a self-insured environment desirable)An effective communicatorInternal audit and training qualifications are desirableSound computer skills are desirableIs effective at multi-tasking, though proactive initiation of tasks / projects and consistently manages them through to completionKnowledge of SA WHS Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice.About usBunge is a premier agribusiness solutions company.
