The Opportunity Calvary Mater Hospital is seeking a Locum Surgical SRMO for coverage across January and February. This is a great opportunity for doctors to gain handson surgical experience in a supportive environment, with competitive rates and full travel and accommodation support for eligible locums. Youll work closely with registrars, consultants and theatre teams, supporting surgical admissions, ward rounds, perioperative care and afterhours cover. Clinical Environment Surgical ward rounds, admissions and postoperative management Opportunity to assist in theatre and work with multiple surgical specialties Supportive consultant team with clear supervision pathways Exposure suited to doctors working toward surgical training pathways Flexible roster with a mix of day and potential afterhours shifts Eligibility Criteria AHPRA General Registration Australian working rights NSW Working with Children Check & Police Check Willingness to complete credentialing and onboarding Whats Provided Up to $200/hour, depending on experience and shift type Travel and accommodation support for eligible locums Full assistance with credentialing and logistics Location Calvary Mater Newcastle Located in Newcastle, Calvary Mater Hospital offers the perfect combination of strong clinical experience and an excellent coastal lifestyle.
