About the Role: As a Lead Educator, youll work alongside the Centre Director and Educational Leader to design and deliver high-quality, culturally responsive learning experiences for children. You will: Lead and Mentor: Guide and support educators, promoting professional growth and high standards of care. Implement Programs: Develop and evaluate specialized programs that support each childs unique needs and interests. Create a Safe Space: Maintain a safe, hygienic, and engaging environment for children and team members, in line with OHS and Duty of Care standards. Build Connections: Cultivate warm relationships with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring every child feels a strong sense of belonging. Document Learning: Keep accurate records of each childs progress and development, aligning with centre policies and national regulations. What Youll Need to Succeed: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications. Substantial professional experience and strong administrative skills, with a knack for time management. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and positively with children and adults. Proven leadership skills and high self-motivation.
