Catering Industries Pty Ltd is a leading provider of contracted hospitality services (catering, cleaning and laundry) to Australia''s health and aged care, education, government, corporate and resources sector. We currently employ over 2,000 personnel across various operations in our active market. About the role We are seeking Catering Assistants to join our modern kitchen team at our clients brand new Residential Aged Care facility located in South Grafton, NSW. The successful applicant will be required to commence work early to midNovember 2025. Roster 1: Monday and Sunday from 3:00pm till 8:00pm / Tuesday to Thursday from 6:30am till 2:30pm. Roster 2: Tuesday to Thursday 3:00pm till 8:00pm / Friday and Saturday 6:30am till 2:30pm. Weekend and Public Holiday Loadings apply. * The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID19 Vaccine, provide a current Federal Police Check certificate, or be willing to apply for one. Skills and experience Aged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary. Reliable and punctual. Ability to multitask and perform work within deadlines. Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients. The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen. Key Responsibilities Providing meal service to elderly residents. Cleaning of kitchen, serveries and dining room set up. Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents. Washing dishes and plating of meals. Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen. Function set up and clear down. Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in daytoday tasks. Food and beverage service.
