Fairbridge WA Limited (Fairbridge) is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Officer - Receptionist for a permanent, fulltime position completing 38 hours per week, commencing 19 January 2026. The role of School Officer / Receptionist This position is responsible for providing high level of administrative support demonstrating a high level of selfinitiative, flexibility, attention to detail, autonomy and dependability whilst adhering to the College Privacy, Record Management and Record Retention Policies. What youll be doing Provide a safe and secure environment to all students and have a strong personal commitment to uphold the Mission and Values of Fairbridge College. Accurately manage onboarding, offboarding and student attendance and detail student notes via TASS software and generate any required reports. Daily use of SharePoint for accessing and storing documentation. Use ID Capture to issue Student Smart rider cards. Regular Teams for daily school related communication. Provide a professional and friendly first point of contact for students, families and visitors, including monitoring daily arrival and departures. Use a high level of initiative to receive, respond, direct and if necessary, diffuse a range of enquiries. Perform reception duties, including filing, archiving, responding / directing incoming phone and email communication from Fairbridge and college stakeholders. Coordinate the Colleges incoming and outgoing mail including the collation and distribution of student reports, permission forms and other letters. Support College operations through SMS. Publish the College newsletter and other publications as required. Undertake administration area housekeeping and coordinate and place orders for various supplies. Issue and control student medication in accordance with College policy. Support with the delivery of College events. Any other duties as directed by the principal. Selection Criteria Maintain a current Western Australia Working with Children clearance. Previous experience of working within a Child safe environment. Holder of / willing to acquire First Aid qualifications. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, SharePoint as well as the capacity to learn the student management systems TASS & ID Capture. High level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate appropriately, effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds. High level of written and oral communication skills. High level of ICT literacy to undertake the responsibilities of the position. Ability to build trust with young people and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
