The successful applicant will actively participate in promoting and implementing Specialist Palliative Care Services.DUTIES:Perform comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment of patients.Plan appropriate care in consultation with patient and multidisciplinary team.Timely, complete and accurate documentation of nursing care and patient progress.Learn more about our community and services here!ABOUT YOU:Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care, hospital or palliative care setting.Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work within a harmonious collaborative team.Demonstrated ability to critically appraise new clinical situations and environments and plan safe, appropriate patient care with the multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to initiate/be involved in quality improvement projects using sound planning and evaluation of outcomes.Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development as evidenced by personal portfolio.For further information please contract, Sheree Martin, Nurse Unit Manager Palliative Care at [email protected] JOIN US?CMN is an Affiliated Health Organisation providing services to both public and private patients primarily from the Hunter New England area.
