OverviewReal Pet Food Company (RPF) is looking for confident and enthusiastic Machine Operators to join our Liver Processing team at the Somersby Manufacturing Site. This role handles raw protein (red meat) in a wet manufacturing environment. The position offers a great work-life balance with Monday to Friday, 6:00 am 2:00 pm shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting up and operating a slicer and other related equipmentMonitoring production processesLoading and feeding raw materials (Liver)Performing quality checksWorking on the production lines as well as within a cool roomTroubleshooting issues that may ariseMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentWorking with raw materialsSome heavy liftingSkills & ExperienceMust pass our Pre-Employment Medical and have the capability and strength to lift up to 20 kgBasic mechanical aptitudeHold a current and valid Forklift Licence (Preferred)Experience within machine operating preferably with food manufacturing production linesExcellent attention to detailAbility to work within a team and independentlyMust be willing to perform general warehouse tasks dailyAbility to maintain production logsExperience working within a butchery or abattoir will be viewed positivelyOn the job training opportunities and career progression within the businessWhat were aboutWelcome to RPF, where we believe in keeping it Real.
