Chief Operating Officer (COO) National Transport & Logistics Gold Tiger Logistics Services (GTLS) is a rapidly expanding national transport and logistics provider supporting some of Australias most recognised brands. With a strong focus on operational excellence, safety & compliance, and continuous improvement, GTLS is moving into an exciting new phase of sustainable growth. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help lead this journey. About the Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the COO will provide national leadership across all transport, warehousing, and customer service functions. This executive role is critical in ensuring GTLS continues to deliver high-quality, reliable service while scaling efficiently and strengthening the companys operational foundations. You will work closely with the Managing Director and CFO to shape strategy, drive performance, and build capability across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee national transport, warehousing, and customer service operations. Develop and implement operational strategies that support GTLSs long-term growth. Build, coach, and empower high-performing operational teams across multiple states. Ensure full compliance with NHVR, CoR and internal policies. Champion a strong safety, compliance, and risk culture across the organisation. Strengthen customer relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery. Oversee budgets, operational KPIs and financial performance. Partner with the Managing Director and CFO on strategic planning and organisational development. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency outcomes. What Youll Bring Significant senior leadership experience within the transport industry. Proven ability to lead large, multi-site operational environments. Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and execution capability. Deep knowledge of NHVR, CoR and operational compliance requirements. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with modern transport and warehouse management systems (TMS/WMS). Handson, solutionsdriven leadership with a disciplined operational approach. Why Join GTLS?
