About the Role The Chief People Officer (CPO) is a pivotal executive leader at Youturn, driving the people strategy that enables organisational growth, high performance, and the wellbeing of its workforce. Reporting to the CEO and as a key member of the Executive Team, the CPO will champion culture and workforce capability, ensuring the delivery of the 20252028 Strategic Plan and positioning Youturn for longterm success. As Youturn embarks on an ambitious plan to double in size by 2031, the CPO will lead enterprisewide workforce strategy, industrial relations, psychosocial risk management, and leadership developmentbuilding people systems and a culture that scale sustainably with growth. As a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Team, the CPO will drive alignment across workforce planning, employee relations, and leadership development, ensuring people strategies support operational excellence, advance the mission, and fuel sustainable growthbuilding a strong, futureready workforce that delivers lasting impact. About the Person The ideal candidate is a highly accomplished senior people leader with postgraduate qualifications in Human Resource Management, Employment Law, or Organisational Psychology, and at least 10 years of executive or senior operational leadership experience in complex, multisite environments. They bring deep expertise in industrial relations and workforce legislation, alongside a proven track record of designing and leading psychosocial hazard management and wellbeing frameworks that genuinely support staff and strengthen organisational resilience. They are recognised for driving meaningful culture transformation and building leadership capability in purposedriven settings. Their leadership style exemplifies humility, inclusion, and accountability, consistently reflecting integrity and missiondriven decisionmaking. Experience in community services, mental health, postvention, or the broader not-forprofit sector is highly regarded, as is exposure to ISO45003 or similar psychosocial safety frameworks.
