General Manager - Finance Sharp & Carter is seeking a General Manager of Finance to lead financial performance across its national operation. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the General Manager Finance will take ownership of the financial performance across the national operation. Responsible for safeguarding cashflow, managing banking relationships, dealing with daytoday operations and helping with investment decisionmaking, you will play a central role in enabling sustainable growth. This highimpact, endtoend finance leadership role is suited to a commercially minded leader who enjoys balancing the strategic with the practical. Youll oversee a capable finance team, strengthen core processes and build on the financial discipline and visibility required to support a complex, assetheavy environment. Key Responsibilities Own cashflow management and working capital optimisation to ensure operational and strategic priorities are balanced. Lead and develop a small, established finance team. Manage key banking relationships to support growth, stability and capital requirements. Partner with the CEO and ELT to drive profitability, operational efficiency and commercial performance. Ensure robust budgeting, forecasting, risk management, statutory reporting and compliance frameworks. Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to the CEO and Board, providing clear insight and analysis. Drive system and process improvements, including optimising the use of Pronto to support business needs. About You You are a qualified CA/CPA accountant, proven finance leader ideally with a solid grounding in capitalintensive, industrial environments. You can see the bigger picture without losing sight of the daytoday fundamentals, and you bring a calm, influential leadership style that builds confidence and clarity. You likely offer: Experience within a heavy industry. Strong capability in cashflow management. A track record of leading and developing finance teams.
