West Gippsland Healthcare Group Warragul VIC Management & Administrative Officers, HS8 An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to lead a multi-disciplined portfolio of services including facilities maintenance, ICT, and hotel services (encompassing food and environmental services). The position is also responsible for the day-to-day management of car parking and security at the main hospital site. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you will oversee the operations of the respective portfolio of services and assist the Director of Corporate Services in the strategic management and direction of such services. You will possess tertiary level qualifications in business or building engineering (or a related field) and have proven experience leading a diverse range of services, with the ability to develop team performance, build capability, mentoring and coaching. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and management support to ensure the achievement of WGHGs strategic directions and annual Statement of Priorities as they relate to such Services. Lead and promote a strong internal service culture, ensuring a service delivery approach that is responsive to the operational and strategic needs of the organisation. Ensure strong focus around corporate governance, compliance and risk management systems and processes. IMPORTANT Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
