Responsibilities Assess and decision credit applications including verification of application data, validation of credit searches and satisfaction of matrix qualifying criteria Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of credit applications Make recommendations for approvals and declines to higher Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) holders where required Ensure credit decisions are made with strict adherence to credit policy Handle credit related enquiries from colleagues, broker introducers, borrowers and third parties Maintain close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Adhere to and monitor SLAs Input, check, and update data into core systems ensuring accuracy of all information Maintain timely communication and status updates to broker introducers Other credit, risk and operational tasks as may be delegated from time to time Qualifications Approximately 3 years credit assessment experience, preferably in an equipment finance environment Current or previous holder of DLA for Equipment Finance will be reviewed favourably An understanding of the financial services industry & equipment finance market Be familiar with PPSR security requirements & general AML/CTF obligations Experience in dealing with external stakeholders such as finance brokers Excellent communication skills both verbal and written The ability to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines Effective analytical and decision making skills High attention to detail Ability to work with minimal oversight Ability to investigate, problem solve and follow up queries Ability to apply a continuous improvement approach to all responsibilities Benefits External technical training courses fully funded.
