Job Description

Are you an experienced tyre industry professional who loves leading people, solving problems and delivering outstanding customer service? Were looking for a handson Tyre Centre Manager to take ownership of our busy Tyre Centre within one of Australias largest and most respected automotive retail networks. As the Tyre Centre Manager, your role at the Tony White Group will collaborate with the Parts Department, Service Managers, Service Advisors and workshop staff to oversee the sales, purchasing and operations of our busy tyre department. This role is ideal for a passionate tyre sales expert or store manager looking to take on additional responsibility as the next step in their successful career. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a small team of tyre technicians and fitters Manage the daily operations of the Tyre Centre, ensuring smooth workflow and ontime delivery Champion our fix it right the first time philosophy to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer trust. Diagnose customer needs and provide tyre, wheel alignment and related service recommendations Oversee job allocation, quality control and safety standards in the workshop Monitor stock levels, ordering and inventory accuracy for tyres and related products Support sales growth through accurate quoting, upselling appropriate products, and building customer relationships Handle escalated customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally Maintain compliance with WHS policies, manufacturer standards and dealership procedures Track key performance indicators (productivity, profitability, customer satisfaction) and implement improvement initiatives About you Previous experience, demonstrated success and passion for tyre sales Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills A strong sense of selfmotivation, with a focus on achieving sales and targets A breadth of knowledge of the various tyre brands, sizes and applications Strong mechanical aptitude, with an interest and willingness to learn more Understand workshop safety requirements and take pride in maintaining a safe, tidy work area A current drivers licence is essential Whats in it for you?
