About the Role Searson Buck is proud to be partnering with The Launceston Chamber of Commerce and are seeking a dynamic and detailoriented Director of Member Services to lead the delivery of exceptional member experiences through their event program. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing the Chambers signature eventthe Business Excellence Awardsalongside a diverse range of networking sessions, workshops, and seminars. Reporting to the CEO, youll integrate their member strategy with event delivery, ensuring every interaction strengthens engagement, fosters advocacy, and creates value for their members. This is a handson role with a strong business development focus, ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships and delivering impactful outcomes through a commercial lens. Key Responsibilities Member Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow membership, foster twoway communication, and share valuable insights. Event Leadership: Plan and execute highquality events, from concept to completion, including logistics, budgets, and onsite management. Stakeholder Partnerships: Build strong relationships with sponsors, members, and community leaders to secure support and enhance event success. Marketing & Promotion: Drive event attendance and engagement through creative campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Awards Management: Oversee the nomination and judging process for the Business Excellence Awards, ensuring transparency and excellence. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate event outcomes, report on performance, and innovate to deliver even greater member value.
