The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Reliability and Maintenance Program Engineer to support Boeing''s E7A Program within the Sustainment (inservice support) Engineering team. This role will place you in the Weight & Balance, Aircraft Maintenance Program, Reliability and Maintenance Requirements Determination (WARM) Team, providing ongoing sustainment support for the existing E7A Wedgetail fleet. The Wedgetail Sustainment program is a complex, dynamic and rewarding program of work. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and highly skilled team that delivers Specialty Engineering inservice support directly to the customer. As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible to the E7 Airborne Mission Segment Sustainment Engineering Manager and WARM Team Lead for providing technical execution of Continuing Airworthiness Management (PartM) for E7A Sustainment Reliability and Maintenance Program Technical Services in accordance with the BDA Engineering Management System. The role is based in Williamtown. Responsibilities Administer the E7A Aircraft Reliability Program, collecting data, determining the adequacy of information collected, information sources, preparing/delivering reliability reports and maintaining records of corrective actions. Conduct statistical and preliminary highlevel investigations to verify adverse trends and/or highlevel alerts. Conduct Root Cause Analysis and put forward approval requests to the Reliability Working Group for deeper level investigations. Will be responsible for the coordination of significant technical problems/systems/components under alerts and the development of corrective action programs.Work with the Product Support (i.e. MRD), Supply Change Management and Maintenance/Modification Teams, to ensure maintenance data is gathered from support systems for reliability condition assessments. Conduct System and Component reliability analysis. Conduct periodic reviews, using reliability techniques, to ensure Aircraft Maintenance Program tasks are effective for operational efficiency and optimising cost of ownership. Conduct Aircraft Maintenance Program optimisation activities. Develop, review and approve artifacts in supporting the provision of Technical/Design Services for the E7A Wedgetail Program. Work towards gaining Engineering Authority and Delegations on the E7 Platform. Experience / Qualifications Hold a Tertiary qualification either in Aeronautical, Aerospace or a related tertiary Engineering degree qualification satisfying the requirements for membership with Engineers Australia. Minimum of 5 years'' experience in aviation engineering focused on Technical Services subject disciplines. A sound understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Programs and Reliability, preferably B737 or similar. Welldeveloped communication skills to work collaboratively to a high standard within a multidiscipline team. Experience working under DASR or equivalent regulatory environment is desired.
