Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, grounded and compassionate Health Services Manager to lead the Oak Valley Health Service. This is a unique leadership role that blends clinical expertise, operational management and community engagement in a remote setting. The Health Service Manager will oversee general clinic operations, financial management including grants, support to aged care services, and partnerships with Oak Valley Council and key partner organisations including AHCSA, NACCHO and SAWCAN. This role carries responsibility for clinical governance, operational leadership, workforce development and compliance with relevant legislation and accreditation standards (including AGPAL). This is not a power over role, but a handson, walkalongside leadership position built on respect, collaboration and community trust. This role will not suit someone seeking hierarchy, control or egodriven leadership. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with current AHPRA registration Minimum five years nursing experience in remote comprehensive primary healthcare Previous experience as a Remote Area Nurse (RAN) Demonstrated health service management experience Proven leadership and communication skills Strong understanding of Indigenous health and cultural safety WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO US Leadership experience in remote or regional service delivery, particularly the ACCHO sector Understanding of Anangu governance and cultural protocols Handson, adaptable and collaborative leadership style WHAT WE OFFER Above Award salary, to be negotiated dependent on experience and organisational fit.
